Independent broker research, built for traders who’d rather decide for themselves.
This page explains who’s behind Trade4Gains, how we approach reviews, and how the site makes money. If you’re trusting a comparison site with a decision about your money, you deserve to know how that comparison was made.
Where Trade4Gains comes from
Trade4Gains was founded in 2017. Our founder has been working in the forex and CFD industry since 2006, first as an Introducing Broker, working directly with brokers and clients to help them open accounts and learn their way around trading platforms, and later as an Acquisitions Manager at a leading broker’s global headquarters, where part of the role involved training the trading floor on how to communicate with clients clearly and honestly.
Years spent inside the industry made one thing obvious: every broker runs different promotions, account types and conditions, and the “right” choice depends entirely on how someone actually trades: their experience level, budget, what they want to trade, and what they actually need from a platform. Most comparison sites don’t really get into that. Trade4Gains was built to do exactly that: give traders a genuinely thorough way to figure out which broker fits them, not just a list of “top 10” brokers in no particular order.
The goal from here is straightforward: help thousands more traders build a relationship with the broker that’s actually right for them, based on how they trade, not which broker has the loudest marketing budget.
We’re based between the UK and Southeast Asia
This gives us a useful vantage point. Many of the brokers we cover serve clients across both regions (and others), and regulatory protections, leverage limits and account terms often differ depending on where you’re signing up from. That’s something we try to flag clearly in our reviews rather than gloss over.
What we’re trying to do
There’s no shortage of “best broker” lists online, and a lot of them are thin, reworded marketing copy with an affiliate link attached. Our aim is different: write the review we’d want to read if we were opening an account ourselves. That means covering the boring-but-important details (inactivity fees, withdrawal methods, which regulator actually applies to your account) alongside the headline stuff (spreads, platforms, minimum deposits).

How we research a broker
We’ve researched a wide range of brokers across the industry over the years. The brokers featured on this site are the ones that have consistently stood out across our criteria. Here’s roughly how that research happens for each one:

How this site makes money
Trade4Gains is supported through affiliate partnerships. If you open an account with a broker via a link on this site, we may receive a commission. This doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it doesn’t change the price or terms you’re offered.
We know this is the elephant in the room for any review site, so here’s our approach: commission potential doesn’t determine rankings. A broker that pays a higher commission doesn’t get a better review because of that. If anything, we try to be more skeptical of brokers we have a financial relationship with, not less, because our usefulness to you depends on you trusting what we say.
We’re a small, independent operation, not a large editorial team with in-house compliance lawyers. We do our best to keep information accurate and current, but broker terms, regulations and offers change, sometimes without much notice. Always confirm details directly with the broker before opening an account or making a deposit.
If you spot something on this site that’s out of date or just plain wrong, we’d genuinely like to know. Getting it right matters more to us than getting it published fast.
And if you’re ever unsure or need clarity on anything regarding choosing the right broker for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our support team at support@trade4gains.com.
