Withdrawals are where a broker’s reputation is really made or broken, and it is the question new IronFX clients ask most. The short version: IronFX does not charge a withdrawal fee on most methods, and it typically processes requests within a business day. The longer answer, covering bank-wire charges, processing times by method and the rules that cause delays, is below. Everything here is drawn from IronFX’s published information and should be confirmed on your own account, as terms change.

Does IronFX charge withdrawal fees?

For most methods, no. IronFX does not apply its own fee on card or e-wallet withdrawals. The one exception to watch is international bank wires, where intermediary or correspondent banks in the chain may deduct a charge that is outside IronFX’s control. This is standard across the industry, not specific to IronFX, but it means a wire can arrive slightly short of the amount requested.

Times are typical estimates and exclude IronFX’s own processing (usually within one business day). Actual speed depends on your bank, card issuer or e-wallet, your region and verification status. Confirm current fees and times with IronFX before withdrawing.

How long do IronFX withdrawals take?

Two clocks decide when your money lands. First, IronFX processes the request, typically within one business day. Then the payment method takes its own time to deliver: e-wallets are usually the fastest at same day to 24 hours, cards land in one to three business days, and bank transfers take roughly two to five. Your very first withdrawal is often the slowest because verification is completed alongside it.

⚠ Two things to know
International bank wires can lose a little to intermediary bank charges, and an inactivity fee applies after 90 days without trading, deposits or withdrawals. If you are stepping away from the account, withdraw your balance first.

IronFX withdrawal methods

IronFX supports the mainstream funding routes. The golden rule is the same-source policy: withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, up to the amount deposited, for anti-money-laundering compliance. Profits above your deposit are typically paid out by bank transfer.

  • Debit and credit cards: no IronFX fee, funds returned to the depositing card first.
  • E-wallets: usually the fastest option once your request is processed.
  • Bank transfer / wire: no IronFX fee, but watch for intermediary bank charges on international wires.

Why IronFX withdrawals get delayed (and how to avoid it)

Almost every “IronFX won’t let me withdraw” complaint traces back to something avoidable. Clear these and payouts are smooth:

  • Finish verification early. Upload ID and proof of address when you open the account, not when you want your money out.
  • Match the name and method. Withdraw to an account or card in your own name that matches your deposit.
  • Clear the same-source amount first. Return the deposited sum to its original method, then take profits by bank transfer.
  • Allow for weekends and bank hours. Processing counts business days, not calendar days.
